The Desert is a place of quiet intensity—vast, sun-soaked, and ever-shifting. In Desert, warmth is not merely a color choice but a sensation, unfolding in layers of deep ochres, burnt siennas, and glowing reds. The hues are drawn from the earth itself, echoing dunes at dusk, the radiance of baked stone, and the fleeting blush of twilight over an endless horizon.
This warm painting is a meditation on both movement and stillness. Its textures emerge organically, shaped by instinctive brushwork that mirrors the Desert’s evolving landscape—wind-sculpted ridges, sun-bleached rock, and the transient paths of sand. The interplay of structured forms and fluid gestures reflects the tension between permanence and impermanence, a theme that runs through much of my work.
